Michael and Mary Wiest, owners of Brookside Kennels of Warren, Inc., have been handling dogs for over 40 years. Mary is an AKC judge of Labrador Retrievers and Golden Retrievers. She has judged as far away as Australia and Finland. Michael retired from the corporate world and has his masters degree in physics. He also is an AKC judge of Labrador Retrievers. Michael and Mary are breeders of Labrador Retrievers under the kennel name of Beechcroft. Mary is recognized as one of the top breeders of Labrador Retrievers in the country. Michael and Mary have taken their knowledge and caring of dogs and put it to work in the boarding kennel. Both have attended and given numerous seminars on canine health and care issues; they are members of local dog clubs and continually strive to improve their knowledge of pet care.
