Michael and Mary Wiest, owners of Brookside Kennels of Warren, Inc., have been handling dogs for over 30 years. Mary is an AKC judge of Labrador Retrievers and Golden Retrievers. She has judged as far away as Australia and Finland. Mary also writes a column for the "Labrador Quarterly" and is President of the National Labrador Retriever Club, Inc. Michael retired from the corporate world and has his masters degree in physics. He will soon be applying for his judging approval from AKC.

Michael and Mary have taken their knowledge and caring of dogs and put it to work in this boarding kennel. Both have attended and given numerous seminars on canine health and care issues; they are members of local dog clubs and continually strive to improve their knowledge of pet care.
